Patience is a virtue
Patience
Patience is a virtue
with gifts of many kinds,
a miraculous healer of the body
a powerful leader of the mind.
Time brings us opportunity
with triumph shortly after,
overcoming the malicious
with patience, strength and laughter.
It takes nine blessed months
for new life to reach our eyes,
one thousand everlasting seconds
for a mouthwatering cake to rise.
Our patience will achieve more
than is possible with our force,
knowledge hides within our clocks
as time is the best resource.
Brilliance cannot be achieved
in a week or month or less,
little by little, day by day
is the ultimate route to progress.
All the people that live in urgency
are letting chances wash away,
time needs to be taken to remember
‘Rome wasn’t built in one day.’

Nature’s Gifts
Stay Humble
When the sun rises
And the waves crumble
They never show off
And always stay humble
When animals develop
And the silver linings bend
They respect each other
And never dare to offend
When the roots need water
Then the heavens pour
They don’t abandon each other
When they are needed more
Just like the sun
We are natures gifts too
What gives us the right
To behave like we do

Poems and Quotes about Patience
“Patience it is an art constructed with wisdom and hope”
“Patience never lets evils work interfere”
Patience
Patience leads us to success
Even though it’s not easy to cope
It is an art not performed by many
Constructed with wisdom and hope
It lets the bad moments fade away
Restricting evil from interfering
Patience is endurance and suffering
Making situations loving and caring

Poem about judgments
‘Narrow minded people are destroying humanity by far’
Judgmental Humans
It’s strange don’t you think
The way judgement is passed around?
We make our own vision of someone
Without a clue of their background
We assume we’ve got them all figured out
Without even knowing who they are
And half of the time we don’t realise
Their hearts are sweeter than ours by far
That girl in the corner who looks so shy
She isn’t a loser who has lost her tongue
You didn’t think maybe she is afraid to talk
Because she has been bullied since she was young
Or that boy with the anger problems
He doesn’t want to punch people so smugly
He just hopes if they’re afraid of him
So one day they might stop calling him ugly
The beautiful girl who goes missing each lunch
Don’t call her a freak and talk about her each night
Maybe she just doesn’t want you to know
About the eating disorder she is trying to fight
I am begging you all to stop judging people
And assuming you know who they are
Because it’s the narrow minded people
Who are destroying humanity by far

Tomorrow
The thought of tomorrow can be scary
Having no clue what’s awaiting
Each day is a complete wonder;
Petrifying and somehow frustrating
Tomorrow could be your last
Or the first time you experience living
Tomorrow someone who only takes
Finally concours the art of giving
A sentence or even a word
May completely change your views
The happiness your in right now
Could turn around with some bad news
If your heart and mind are at war today
Peace could be found tomorrow
Smiles happiness and love can replace
Todays frowns, cries and sorrow
At the end of the day simply appreciate
Tomorrow is the worlds biggest mystery
Just know that today is a present
And anything but tomorrow is history

The Less Said Is More
Words
They make us and they break us
Can be a disease or a cure
Some of us have no limit on them
Whereas others are hungry for more
In some situations, just one word
Can bring peace and harmony
Other times misunderstandings
Lead each other to tragedy
Even though words are a blessing
They are a disease as well as a cure
They are to be used kindly, but remember
Sometimes the less said is more

Moral Poems
Never say you’re too powerless
Some like the idea that to have money
Means you instantly have power
To me that proves their mentality
Is simply petite and sour
As power is the ability
To plant a smile on someone’s face
Or give a few pounds to the homeless
As your kindness they embrace
Power is dragging someone out of the wrong
And bringing them into the right
Or giving a hug to someone blue
Leading them to delight
Power is teaching a child
Something they’ll remember forever
Or letting someone know their appreciated
With a card; as light as a feather
So never say you’re too powerless
To make a change for good
It’s not a matter of what you should do
It’s a matter of what you could

Forgiveness Poem
Forgiveness
An angel named Forgiveness
Traveled from mind to mind
Teaching people how to move forward
And leave the past behind
She reminded them of their regrets
Taught that perfection is rare
And humanity makes mistakes
Despite their love and care
She tried to stay strong; hold her ground
But she was just not that tough
Soon to be replaced by anger and grudges
Because sorry was no longer enough
Forgiveness was soon out of the picture
As revenge suddenly became right
But she still travelled from mind to mind
Convincing them to see the light

Freestyle Poem – Moral Poems
Appreciate and love
If we are blessed with eyes
Why do we not see?
Are the ears we are given
Not capable for you and me
Why do our fingers just
Touch and not feel
And our minds hold evil
Not memories which are real
We should see a child, a baby
A husband and wife
And appreciate the amazement
Of the miracle of life
We should hear the birds chirp
In the early hours of the day
And listen carefully for their wings
As they flutter away
We should feel the heat on our skin
As the sun rises each morning
Or the breath we’ve been blessed with
As we cover our mouth yawning
We should remember the things people do
And the desires they’ve met
Instead of memorising their mistakes
And being too stubborn to forget
Life has been taken for granted
And stripped of its beauty
We must appreciate and love
As this is our only duty
