Short Poems – Time Poems

A short poem about time passing

Time is your friend, not your enemy

Time is your friend
Not your enemy
Try to run at a slow pace
Together with time, you see
Act your age
Is what I mean!
Don’t rush out for
Anti-wrinkle cream
Don’t you panic
When your hair fades away
Don’t rush out to dye it
When it starts to turn grey
In a nutshell
Don’t be frightened to be told
That you are slowly starting
To get a bit old

As soon as I receive a message from a reader even if its one single word, I feel great. I know someone has read my poem and has taken the time to write. So, thank you everyone for your comments 🙂

I am sitting here reading your your poems, not a great day, some of your words are happy some are sad, some are true, some you don’t want to think about, some you don’t want to acknowledge, some have such feeling you just want to cry, and some make you wonder why. You r wise putting words to paper, you will not forget, but some you will not want to remember, but thank you, for it is not for me to know why. But please do not stop for you must help some or one or none……
