There are people that want you

Outside there is a world
Bigger than it seems
It is not there for us to be grim
It’s to fill our dreams
Live life as a fairytale
Don’t make it a bore
There are opportunities around you
So don’t be scared and explore

I will pray for you

If you have a cold
Or even worse the flu
Then just tell me and…
I will pray for you

If you have done a sin
And it is stuck like glue
Then just give me a call and…
I will pray for you

If someone close has died
Or another family issue
As soon as I find out…
I will pray for you

If you got into trouble
That you can’t undo
Then with all my heart…
I will pray for you

I hope one day when I am down
Or simply feeling blue
You will pray for me…
Just like I prayed for you

You are my brother, the one I love

I know that you love me
And for my safety, you will kill
You help me reach my dreams
And my wishes you always fulfill

But it’s not just the presents
Your love for me is grand
When I am down in the dumps
You cuddle me and hold my hand

You make me feel safe
I believe you when you tell me not to worry
You are there for me, even when
I make mistakes, ‘I am sorry’

When I am in danger or upset
You are always there
I like to thank you for your love
Kindness and care

Cheeky monkey

Hey you cheeky monkey
Stop being mean to the donkey
I knew he sings that terrible song
But apart from that, he does nothing wrong

You only swing from tree to tree
So that the people can watch and see
Whereas the donkey goes from place to place
Only because it is helping humans in every case

Don’t call him stupid or ugly too
Because he is a lot more helpful than you
Get out of its hair and leave it alone
Because it has not got time to hear you moan
