Scattering along the earths surface
cleansing the smooth golden sand
Don’t you know the sea is large enough
without you causing it to expand

Hi Marinela .. waves – they are so beautiful .. even if they’re just gently washing in to touch the sand, or pounding about with themselves before they crash towards the shore. Thanks – love that vision .. Hilary
This beautiful poem reminds me of something I read a long time ago about tears. They are washing the windows of our soul. The ocean is like that, I think, the hum of our soul. Beautiful little poem, Marinela.
This poem is as beautiful as your good-self.
Thank you. Love love, Andrew. Bye.
This is an awesome mini poem and i like the picture.
Good sense of movement
This is a fine poem, Marinela. I like the 3rd and the 4th line: maybe the waves know that, but they are charming and like to show off!
Thanks for these last two poems. Both quite topical in their own way, they had me thinking of the nature of things.
ah…the waves..
so many times I’ve looked at the waves and felt the same…but never was I able to pen it down so beautifully. There is so much to think about in those four lines that you wrote. Thank you for sharing 🙂
Beautiful; love it 🙂
Thank you everyone for reading and commenting 🙂
yes, the sea is large enough without you causing it to expand…
nice to read your poems…
your poems are so good i don’t understand how and why someone would write a bad comment
