Love is painful – Triolet poem

Love is painful but holds great pleasures
Without care, it can always drift away
Before you let it; take large measures
Love is painful but holds great pleasures
It is one of life’s most sacred treasures
Which completes us every single day
Love is painful but holds great pleasures
Without care, it can always drift away

Hi Marinela .. love the rose photo! The name ‘Triolet’ rings so well too .. I’m sure I can grip the method .. but the brain is weak! Love your words though .. without care it can drift away … it has done here! Cheers Hilary

The pattern of the triolet is quite complex and you’ve developed it very well, Marinela, with nice and true thoughts about love. A beautiful job indeed.
