March

Stubborn chilly days
The pathway to our summer
March just let spring shine

    Very fine haiku, Marinela.

    Dark, suffering, death:
    the planned cataclysm
    by some accounts,
    violently brings out
    the inexorable human weakness.

    Happy Sunday 🙂

  5. I love the way you used “stubborn chilly days” in this poem. Living in Alaska, the concept of stubborn chilly days hanging onto the snow in the yard really hit home for me. The winter seems like it just does not want to let go.

That’s so powerful in so few words. I picture a young girl in Seattle mad at being stuck inside for the last 6 months. And I picture her very vividly!
