Short Poem – Sisterhood
S is for Special Sisters
S is for the sky
And for the elegant sea
Certainly for sisterhood
Buried within you and me
S is for the glowing sun
And for the shining stars too
not forgetting special sisters
For example; me and you
S is for sincere smiles
And for soul mates as well
Of course for super sisters
I am sure you could tell

I wasn’t lucky enough to have a sister, I do have a brother but could never understand why I didn’t have a sister. My dad died when I was three perhaps that was the answer, I feel I did miss out on a very important sibling.I congratulate you on a very lovely poem.

I had two sisters growing up and then a surprise little sister about the time my oldest daughter was born. I was surprised also to see S when I was thinking O. Nice poem.
