Perfect to me

If beauty was an image
it would be painted on your skin
if patience was a smile
all you would do is a grin
if compassion was a gas
it would flow outside your lungs
if intelligence was a word
it would slide right off your tongue
if strength was a liquid
it would replace your blood
if loyalty was like water
your whole body would flood
if perfection did exist
then that’s what you would be
but nobody is perfect
