A woman who is filled with pride
The day a child is born
A new woman is born too
A woman who now puts herself second
Replaces the word me for you
A woman who sees her child in pain
And feels the agony in her heart
A woman who has so much love to express
She doesn’t even know where to start
A woman who is filled with pride
But tries to remain humble and mild
A woman who realizes there is no love
Greater than a mother’s love for her child
Understand the day you are born
You became your mother’s air
So take this day, this opportunity
To show your appreciation and care
