Love poem – Divine Joy
Love poem – Divine Joy
Divine Joy
When hatred shattered my heart
I just swiftly moved away
When your eyes burnt through my soul
I was way to scared to stay
When whispers surrounded the air
I held my ears- oh so tight
When I tried to confront you
I was overtaken by fright
Now I notice my mistakes
And I wish I’d always known
That nothing can camouflage
Your evil heart of stone
None of your actions will give you
A greater pleasure than mine
Because of love, kindness, and hope
Is a joy that’s simply divine

A boot on her head!
Hi Marinela .. lovely poem – so true … so many have hearts of stone, but it’s better and more sensible to leave them as quickly as possible & not be hurt. Your last verse is lovely … ‘because love, kindness and hope, is a joy that’s simply divine”.
Enjoy the weekend .. Hilary

We all wish
For the good graces in our lives
As we open our eyes
Every early morning rise
Yesterday faults are gone
What we do and say
Some may agree some may disagree
It is only gone yet records stay
It is today we seek
The way out of misery
Of shame or glory
As we watch the sun rays
Tomorrow we learn
Of yesterday and today
The never ending process
As we smile to the bright day

Marinela: How so touching.. I agree.. I have been through something very similar very very recently.. and I can understand how true those words ring in my ears.. the feelings of having been around an evil heart of stone.
Love, Punam
