Funny and silly poem for kids

Kids funny silly poem

What am I talking about?

Ballerinas always spin around
So does the world they have found
Found my missing shoe how strange
Shoe sizes have to change
Changing seasons that’s so cool
Summer’s when we are not in school
School is boring I have to learn
Learn to wear sun creme when you burn
Burn your fingers on candle fire
Fingers and feet we should admire
Should we help others I don’t know?
Others like playing in the snow
Playing that’s what I love to do
The love between me and you?
You cut chicken with a knife
What is the true meaning of life?
There is a meaning to everything
Wow, a bird with just one wing!
A frog, a lizard and a snake
you’re not pretty your just fake!
Try talking no need to shout
what am I talking about?

Very cleverly done, I love how one line leads to another.

  6. Julia Smith says:

    I like these lines best:

‘You cut chicken with a knife
What is the true meaning of life?
There is a meaning to everything
Wow a bird with just one wing!’

Very whimsical, but it hints at something deeper.

I like the child-like stream-of-consciousness feeling to this poem and also how the tail of one line becomes the head for the next.

Well, Marinela , a little late to be here.. but then what a lovely poem you have written this time..and I am not able to comment in the form of a rhyme for a change and perhaps a bit strange.. for you..isn’t it true.. Lo, behold, what I told and what has become.. wow, That’s fun.. your poem made me happy.

Looks like you took one line and the next thought fed from it. Much like some people I listen to go on and on, just because they need listening to. Cool poem, Marinela!
