Hi. I love this – a poem about words. I think so many people overlook the notion of giving words their due respect. We’re all quick to go on about sunsets and the fourth of july or whatever, but your haiku about words is very nice.
‘nice’ is my lame attempt at telling you that i like it 🙂

    xx,

I like how the second and third lines are both alliterative. The first line almost is also! Nice haiku!

    Never met a flower
    Flower that I didn’t like
    Flowery words like yours

Thank you, Marine, for dropping in on my troubled heron bit. And too for leaving your nice comment.

Our daughter has moved to London (she brought her family also) for work. It looks like the train that took us to Milton Keynes (we have friends ther) goes to Leeds. We need to visit there and York, both further up.

We’ve been to Isle of Man (my ancestors were from there as well as Britain), Scotland, and Ireland several times. We haven’t been to Wales.

Thank you, Marinela, for dropping by today and for leaving a nice comment on my latest. I have slowed a bit but am still writing blogs, I do hope some will turn out to be poetry. At this time I am writing a journal type post on my “Jim’s Little Blog” for an Iowa teacher who lives on a small farm and raises goats. She writes of the second endeavor. “P&P Place” blog I place my efforts at poetry along with the “Imaginary Garden with Real Toads” poetry writing group.
