Girls – Alliteration Poems

Girls – Alliteration Poems

Girls – Alliteration Poems

A short alliteration poem about Girls starting with a letter G. Alliteration is the use of words that begin with the same letter or sounds. This form of poetry is amazing creativity exercise. I created this short poem as an example.

Glamorous girls giving guys grief

Gorgeous girls gathered
Gossiping and giggling gladly
Geared up for going out greatly
Great nights gradually getting gelid
Glamorous girls giving guys grief

    Girls and women
    The beauty of the beholders
The eyes roam the dreams flow
    Walking by the guys hope

    In this world
    Girls and boys
    Women and men
    They make it works

    The heartbeats thundering
    Within the body cage…..
    Casanova and Romeo…
    The meek and geek

    It’s the dream
    What else is new?
    Generation after generation
    It never gets boring

    Girls and boys
    Women and men
    The eyes see
    The minds dream

Dear Marinela, I have always enjoyed Alliteration as a Figure of Speech, not least because it conveys a great sense of fun. Such fun is most certainly expressed in your poem – all too easily one is able to imagine those girls getting dressed and made up ready for a night on the town. I shall look forward to reading more of your work.

In the meantime, thank you so much for becoming a ‘Follower’ of my weblog. I very much hope that you will enjoy reading future postings.
