Eleven-word poem (Elfje)
An Elfje is an eleven-word Dutch poem. This poetic form is an easy way to learn children how to write poems. To write an Elfje poem you need to follow some simple rules. The form consists of five lines and eleven words, does not rhyme.
Line 1. One word.
Line 2. Two words
Line 3. Three words
Line 4. Four words
Line 5. One word.
Love Isn’t Perfect

his eyes
staring into mine
