Christmas Poem

Christmas Poem

Each year a miracle enters our door

As the cutlery dances on the table
And you inhale that breathtaking fume
Mary and Joseph sat in that old stable
Waiting for Jesus to be born soon

Children write lists for what they lack
Knowing that Santa is on his way
Travelling on the little donkey’s back
They looked for a quiet place to stay

Celebration and joy filled the air around
The most festive season by far
The three wise men travelled the ground
following that big bright star

With presents and cards, a day to remember
Carols, decoration and so much more
Jesus was born on the 25th of December
And each year a miracle enters our door

Christmas means love land love means home
