Poem about bullying

Anti Bullying Poem

Anti Bullying Poem

Great Mistake

Those who have the nerve to hate
Have been hated again and again
Those who judge their neighbours
Have had the judgement thrown on them
Those who shatter others dreams
Have had their own thrown to the floor
Those who cause nothing but pain
Have never been cured before
Those who are offensive all the time
Have been offended all the same
Those who embarrass the weak souls
Have once wept away in shame
If we know about the pain it emits
Why do we mirror this agony?
A great mistake that has evolved
In the fragile minds of humanity.

A great offering. I often ask myself when I hear it said that bullies often bully because they were bullied.

  2. Powerful lessons here. Its such a sad state of things that we hurt others when we are hurting. I think fear is what usually leads us to violence

it is a tragic fallacy of us humans…believing it is a competitive world we eat one another on our way to…well what?

A great piece of poem… Just shows that we must respect everyone irrespective of what we think…
A lesson to all youngsters at school and college…
    Have a great day Marinela:)

  5. Leslie White says:

Good poem, Marinela. It is an example of how negative energy begets more of the same. Someone needs to jump right in there and infuse some positive. 🙂

  6. Jae Rose says:

It is so hard to understand why ‘we’ sometimes find it easier to carry on the pain instead of changing direction and making amends for past mistakes..for every bad choice however there is a good choice that can also be made..jae

  7. Elizabeth says:

I used to hear, all the time, that misery loves company, and the silent trailer on that would seem to be “so passes it on and on and on.” Made a decision long ago, that I wanted to pass on positive things. It has made all the difference,

Really a good poem, Marinela. Maybe this reflection of rancour is sometimes unconscious, not intentional: it’s a charge of negative attitudes one acquires unawares after bad experiences during the years.
    Happy Thursday 🙂

It’s so true that we tend to repeat the patterns of behaviour we observe, perpetuating the misery.

I had a read through your bully poems; an interesting collection. I hope they reach those who need to see them.
