Alliteration poems and cinquains

Alliteration Poems – Cinquains

Alliteration Poems – Cinquains – Winter Poems

A beautiful alliteration poem for children about the season of winter

Sparking snowflakes

Snowflakes
Silver, soft
Slipping, sparking, spinning,
Swaying silently so skilfully
Spectacular

White Winter

Winter
White, wintry
Whirling, worrying, watching
Whooshing wild wind whistles
Wonder

Frosty February

February
Frosty, foggy
Freezing, flurrying, falling
Frozen flakes flying furiously
Frost

Yet something I have learnt. I have of course seen verse written like this but I had no idea they were known as alliteration poems.

Whoops! That of course should have read Yet something else I have learnt

Love the sibilant Snowflake poem. We don’t experience this kind of winter, so it stirs the imagination. Lovely 🙂
