Christmas cards preparing for a run
Homes are lifted with love and fun
Rejoice as Christ’s birth has now begun
Intriguing stories for everyone
Snow begins to show up the sun
The spirit of Christmas; our hearts it has won
Mothers try hard to get the lovely dinner done
After eating so much, you feel a ton
Special day set out for the birth of Gods son

Great way to start out this Christmas Season. What a lovely poem.
I think that sums the season up very nicely. I really like this form of verse, well done and many thanks on another great poem.
This put a smile in my heart… You had me from the first line!! I wish I was better at using metaphors like this. Somehow it elevates the entire writing to a sweeter, higher level.

Very nice poem that captures what Christmas is all about! Acrostics can often seem so stilted because of trying to fit things to the main word, but this is seemless and flows wonderfully. Peace and Merry Christmas, Linda
