Acrostic Christmas Poem
Acrostic Christmas Poem
Here is an acrostic poem about Christmas time. It describes the feeling of a Christmas day beautifully.
Christmas
Can anyone explain that peculiar feeling?
Held in our souls as we wait for that day
Racing and beating our hearts hit the ceiling
In such excitement all worries decay
Silently waiting for Santa Clauses sleigh
Time seems to drift as each day is sealing
Merry and cheerful smiling away
Always singing and laughing and joyfully squealing
Seizing the happiness of Christmas Day

Crikey, but it’s coming quickly
Haven’t got a gift bought yet
Running to commercial centres
It’s crowded as a place can get
So it’s choclates for Grandmammy
Tinny drums for tiny tots
Many toys for little Sammy . . .
I’m not getting tied in knots
Snow is falling in my thoughts
I love it, simply beautiful,
