Shape Poems (Christmas Poem)

December13

Shape poems are really  fun to write.

Christmas is slowly on its way to us

A
Shiny
Little star
Burned bright
Full of glowing light
Spreading joy to the night
Christmas time!
A time that fills us with desire
And slowly sets our hearts on fire
We pray, we love and listen to the choir
A jolly Christmas time
The Christmas tree stands so tall and so proud
Takes a seat on the presents as they become a crowd
Looks over the treasured presents like a hovering cloud
Everybody loves Christmas time
It’s decorated merrily with colours and materials of all kinds
It created a place of pleasure and joy for our eyes, and our minds
And many years of pleasure and memories it always unwinds
Christmas
Is slowly
On its
Way
To
Us

Nonet Poem (Christmas)

December12

CHRISTMAS

Christmas bringing lots of harmony
Holiday, love and happiness
Relatives sharing presents
Ideal day for caring
Sharing the pleasure
Treasuring times
Mainly we
Await
Snow

Nonet Poem (Christmas)

There’s no one like Santa

December9

If I were Santa Claus
Christmas would never be the same
Every young child would be
Looking down at me with shame

My home would be in the south
And not in the north with all the snow
I wouldn’t risk getting stuck in a chimney
So I would climb through a window

My helpers would be talking dogs
And no more tiny high-pitched elves
No one would be helping each other
But all thinking of themselves

Luckily for you I am not Santa
The real one is generous, brave and kind
He spends his time making us happy
And we are always on his mind

While we let Christmas fill our hearts
And he works to his max
He puts a smile on every child’s face
And lets every parent relax

Feeling of Christmas

December7

Snowflakes fall, and the air shivers
I clasp onto my mildly worm mug
The cold communicates with my body
So I try to keep myself nice and snug

I don’t seems to think it’s the snow
The warm radiators or Christmas tree
The great feeling has one explanation
Being with my beloved family
