A Rispetto is an Italian type of poetry. It has two stanzas that have 4 lines each. The rhyming scheme for the first stanza is abab and for the second it is ccdd. Have a go at writing one yourself! They are easy and fun to write!
Rispetto
My heart trembles when I see
you, my little cousins growing up so fast
Best friends we will always be
just like now and in the past
I can’t stop the naughty time flying
But to build a bridge of memories I’m trying
So that the connection that we have together
Will be the same now and forever

Loop poetry is easy to write and especially fun to read. It is very cleaver the way that they are formed. There is no certain amount of syllables in a line or stanzas in the poem. In every stanza that you write The last word of line 1 is the first word of line 2, then the last word of line 2 is the first word of line 3, then the last word of line 3 becomes the first word of line 4, and so on. The rhyming in each line is as follows : ABCB. I wrote one about ‘poems’ and I hope that you enjoy reading it.
Poems
Some poems are fun to read
Read them and you will be amused
Amused at all of the cleaver words
Words that have been used
Other poems are long
Long and tell a story
Story that can scare
Scare you because they’re gory
Some poems are full of emotion
Emotion from the soul
Soul that is set out to inspire
Inspire others is its goal
Others are simply to get rid
Rid of the pain inside
Inside your heart aches
Aches of the tenderness you can’t hide
There are some for the one
One you like the most
Most likely to love the person
Person so beautiful you may boast
There are different types of poems
Poems for fun and to express
Express it by writing it
It may lead to progress

A triplet poem is composed by stanzas of three lines. They have not got a certain rhyming pattern ( but I prefer rhyming them because I think it sounds more elegant to read) The writer has got a huge amount of freedom while writing a triplet poem and can express whatever they want. They can be long poems or short poems, depending on the author. I wrote this triplet poem about a small and a effective thing we all give out and love to receive: hugs. I hope you like my triplet poem!
Hugs
Cuddles are sweet
For hearts they are a treat
They make us feel complete
Hugs throw fears way
They always make our day
Smiles on the face they lay
We must take hugs and give
They make it easier to live
So always: hug and forgive
Our emotions they can mend
When hugs we lend
To family or a friend
So please don’t by shy
Make the human soul fly
Just hug, don’t ask why

Monorhyme poems are really easy. You dont need a certain amount of syllables or a certain theme or form. The only rule you must stick to is that every single line rhymes with each other. I hope you like my Monorhyme poem!
You should all have a go!
I must love you is some sort of way
I thought of you the other day
And now that’s where you always stay
At school, or as in bed I lay
Crossing my mind as I pray
When I study or when I play
It’s in there every single weekday
I must love you in some sort of way
Because the thought of you wont go away

Tanka poems are short, poems with only 31 syllables that go like this:
The first line has 5 syllables,
The second line has 7 syllables
The third line has 5 syllables,
And the fourth and fifth lines both have 7 syllables.
I just wrote a small poem (tanka) about spring and how it is trying to cure and save the air pollution. However nature is not strong enough because we are damaging the air.
Fighting pollution
In Beautiful Spring
All new flowers burst and bloom
The endangered air
Must have nature to survive
Or it will fade, like we will

Acrostic poems are very straightforward to write. The first letter of each line forms a word or a number of words going down. (Perpendicularly) A acrostic poem can be about anything or anyone. They are very simple and have no length limit. Another type of similar poem is a name poem, this too can be written for anyone and for any occasion.
The Swan
Traveling swiftly across the water
Having no trouble looking attractive
Exploring the shiny silver lake
Sharing its beauty with all trespassers
Wild bird with everlasting grace
Amazingly calm as thousands stare
No animal beats the bewildering swan

The type of poetry called Septolet consists of only seven lines with fourteen words with a gap in between the two parts. Both parts deal with the same ideas and create imagery.

Quietly whispering
