No more jumping from the fish

November19

There was little goldfish
He jumped into a ladies dish
He said, ‘I jumped really high’
‘Please put me back before I get dry’
And there was no more jumping from the fish

No more jumping from the fish

My comfy bed

November4

I have a comfy bed
Its cover is nice and red
It is lovely, like my bed there is no other
Everyone is jealous especially my brother
On its pillow I rest my head

Limericks

October29

There was a woman who lived in a shoe
She had a child who was two
When her child grew up she lived in a sandal
It was very hard to handle
Now she wishes to live in a shoe

Limericks, Boris Johnson

October27

There is a man Boris Johnson is his name
Many think he is brilliant, others think he is lame
His motto is to be firm but fair
Well I think his fame is due to his blonde hair
He’s crazy but always plays a good game

When London was covered with snow
All buses had to stop, as you all know
I have got to admit Boris is pretty cool
Because of snow he shut down every school
To lessons we did not have to go.

Poor Boris the trouble he got into
I guess he didn’t think it was such a big issue
They all said shutting down buses was wrong
But Boris remained confident and strong
And then walked out of the meeting too!

Funny Limericks

May6

There was a man stuck in a tree

There was a man stuck in a tree
He asked for help from me
I went up and got stuck too
And I will ask for help from you
Be careful there are two of us up here we don’t need three!

A naughty washing machine

Oh there is a naughty washing machine
It eats my socks when they need a clean
One day it even ate my hat
How naughty is that?
This was the naughtiest washing machine I’ve seen!

Once my sister had the flu

May4

Once my sister had the flu
I was afraid she might give it to me too
Her nose was bright red
She only stayed in bed
I didn’t want to catch it, what could I do?

A little book…

February27

There is a book on the table
It is all about poems but not any fable
The author is me
I am so proud as you can see
Ah this little book is so adorable

This little book is so adorable

Poems by my little heart

A girl from Spain

February25

There was a girl from Spain
Who loves sun and hates rain
She enjoyed the sun
But with rain she had no fun
But she lives in England and suffers the pain
