You are not worth my tears

June7

You may of hurt me a few times
In the long and faithful years
But now my heart will not shatter because
you’re not worth my tears

Or maybe you have accused me
And said words that hurt my ears
But I am strong enough to know
that you’re not worth my tears

You may have abused my heart
more than it appears
But I know there will be others
So your not worth my tears

But thanks for helping me conquer
All of my emotional fears
And helping realize the truth
That your not worth my tears

You may be surprised to know
that all I say is cheers
Never have you, or will you
Be worth my precious tears

Symphony of life!

May31

Every single note
Is a second of our day
The symphony so sweet
Makes our worries float away

Legato and staccato
The moods of your and me
the blood in our body
flows like a melody

Every word out our mouths
so sweet and precise
the quick sharp tunes
Freeze you like ice!

Blues, classical and hip-hop
all pleasure they give
every sound proves that
with music we live!

Kind words

February25

I wrote this poem when I was 6 years old, it is about kind words! Since then I have not adjusted to it at all, I have left it to capture the way I felt all those years ago. I hope that everybody likes it because it is coming from a little girls heart.

Kind words are like a honey,
You don’t have to buy them with money,
You just say them one by one
And the job is done.
Kind words are really great,
It is good to say them to your mate
Even if it is too late.
If you break up with someone,
You just say a kind word, only one
And then you have more fun.
Kind words are the best medicine
And treatment for the heart,
You don’t need to buy them at the pharmacy,
It is so easy to say them, it’s never hard
Kind words are magic,
If someone is sad,
You only say one or two
And at once they will be glad.

Beautiful liar!

February6

If when there are elections
The beautiful snow was taking part
My desirable fascination for it
Would bring joy to my young heart

The unique individual snowflakes
The frosted and alabaster white coat
The delight of seeing everyone merry
Snow, you have definitely got my vote

My soul feels alive as see the blissful sight
My lungs breathes as I smell the fresh air
My eyes tingle as the flakes drift down
And charmingly land on my soft hair

But when the sun shines and the rain falls
The absolutely brilliant snow starts to melt
I begin to see that nothing is perfect
And no longer feel the same feelings I felt!

The snow I fell in love with has gone
Instead left some slippery, stubborn thick ice
It is no longer safe to drive or to walk
So next time I vote I have to think twice!

It turns out to be a miserable misfortune
And not the utterly beautiful snow we desire
It just looks like what we adore and love
Is nothing but a very beautiful liar!

Mother Teresa

January30

You helped the poor
For no price
You cleansed their souls
Just being nice

You assisted them
With a home to stay
You aided the diseased
In every way

You opened orphanages
For children in need
You saved many lives
By a simple good deed

You opened your heart
Without a single complaint
They repaid your graciousness
And made you a saint

Life

September6

Life, why did you betray me like this?
The journey we began together was so simple and pure
Why did you change your attitude with such speed?
Now I must stress my mind about everything
I have to study very hard, so in life I can succeed

You used to say you were peaceful and calm?
We used to spend most of our time fooling around
Picking beautiful daisies and rolling in dirt
Today you muttered to me that: ‘life can be a vicious combat’
I could get trampled on, used and very hurt

I don’t understand why you used to declare:
‘Everyone is your friend, you have no enemies
No need to judge people they are all so kind’
Now you say: ‘Be careful who you hang around with’.
That’s another damn thing to worry my mind!

You made our journey seem so simple and amusing
But now it’s beginning to get harder by the day
You fooled me before, now you dare to lie
But, I will walk with you and face the surprises on the way
And be independent, strong, and happy until I die

Everybody has the chance

June2

Everybody has the chance
To do a good deed
If you are driving near a school
Lower down your speed
Or maybe when you see the homeless
Give them a pound or two
Lower the sound on the T.V
If the elderly live near you
I am not saying that you must
Give away lungs or your heart
But remember it’s the smallest things
That play the biggest part

I don’t know about you

May9

I don’t know about you
But I have a mum so caring, so fine
I don’t know about you
But she treats me like a princess all of the time.
I don’t know about you
But because of her my cloths are so neat
I don’t know about you
But my mum makes me feel complete
I don’t know about you
But she loves me with every touch
I don’t know about you
But I love my mum very much

My imaginary friend

March21

My imaginary friend
Has got brown eyes
And brown hair
My imaginary friend
Is as cuddly
As polar bear
My imaginary friend
Is playful and kind
My imaginary friend
Has got a big mind
My imaginary friend
Is complete with care
My imaginary friend
Knows how to share
My imaginary friend
Is my sweetheart
My imaginary friend
Likes so much art
My imaginary friend
Is really fun
The truth is
I don’t have an imaginary friend
All of this is my mum

My imaginary friend is really fun

No one listens to me though

March14

I did something different
When the teacher sent me on a mission
So I got told off
And the teacher said, “YOU SHOULD LISTEN”

I sent the letter to the dentist
When I was meant to take it to the optician
So I got told off
And my mum said, “YOU SHOULD LISTEN”

I went to the pet shop to get fish food
But I ended up getting a kitten
So I got told off
And my fish said, “YOU SHOULD LISTEN”

I turned off the radio
When my brother said to turn off the television
So I get told off
My brother said, “YOU SHOULD LISTEN”

I started to paint
Instead of doing some revision
So I got told off
My father said, “YOU SHOULD LISTEN”

I used my sister’s make up
Without her permission
So I got told off
My sister said, “YOU SHOULD LISTEN”

I made my room dusty and messy
While my Nanny said your room should glisten
So I got told off
My Nan said, “YOU SHOULD LISTEN”

They all tell me to listen
And the word listen in my face they seem to throw
But I have noticed that
No one LISTENS to me though!

The word listen in my face they seem to throw
